| Two weeks before Christmas something funny happened. It all began in an English lesson at my school. "Kids, we are going to play "Angel and Loon”. Please write your names on a piece of paper and throw it into this basket,” our teacher announced. I was very happy because I love "Angel and Loon”. The year before I had drawn my best girlfriend and another year before I had drawn my best boyfriend. After 5 minutes we were ready. I went to the front desk and put my hand into the basket. Then I took out a little mini-paper. I opened the paper and looked for the name. It was Benjamin. "Oh my God!” I thought. I couldn’t stand Benjamin. He was unfriendly, mean and ugly. At the end of the lesson my best girlfriend came to me and said, "I am so happy!!”- "Why?” - "Because I picked Simon!” Simon was her best friend. "And you?”- "I picked Benjamin”-"Oh, poor Alex.” After that horrible day I went home, very sad and disappointed. My mum was already waiting with lunch for me. After the meal I went into my room and did my homework. When I had finished, I thought about the perfect present for an ugly boy. But I came to no solution. Suddenly I had a brain wave. It was the present for him: faked slime!! Then my mum came into my room and said that she was going shopping and she asked me if I wanted to come with her. In the evening I had two presents: the faked slime for Benjamin and some chocolate for my friends. Then I wrapped the two things into wonderful gift paper. On the next day I went happily to school. In the English lesson we tossed our presents. Benjamin unwrapped his present and he looked a little bit disappointed. "Chocolate, that’s all?” he asked.-"What? Oh no, you have unwrapped the false present!” I said. As fast as I could I ran to my schoolbag and gave him the right gift. "Sorry Benjamin- this is your present. The chocolate is for my friends.” And then he surprised me. He was happy about his real present!! "Thanks Alex…what a wonderful present. I love it!” he shouted. "You’re welcome,” I answered confused. When I went to my place there was a present on my desk. It was from Simon. I was so frustrated about Benjamin’s present that I had forgotten about mine. It was a nice necklace with a fish on it. In the break I went to Simon and said thank you. He was happy about having found the perfect present for me. At the end it turned out to be the best "Angel and loon”-game I had ever played!
